Too powerful to just die? What did the sprite mean? Bill didn’t know, but he had an idea. Without saying anything to Tom, he slipped through the floor and down to the ground floor. His body had been dematerialized which meant that they weren’t dead. They did have something, but they needed to build it once again.
And Bill had an idea as to how to do such a thing. He remembered the days when he was still dabbling in the magics. Before it started to take over him. He hadn’t realized how much of his personality was Dark. Once incorporeal, he didn’t look at another man. He didn’t really care about girls either, but that was because the bodiless state made him depressed.
Bill closed his eyes as he tried to focus on the many voices that he had pushed to the back of his mind. And there it was. A simple voice that was echoing his very words. The very words that people claimed to save them. Just a simple song that made him smile.
“Read? Set…” Bill’s chocolate gaze opened a moment before he mumbled the last word, “Go!” with that he found himself standing in a small room as the song filled the room. It was good to find someone that still enjoyed Tokio Hotel. After their deaths they had become rather big, but they faded like most old groups.
Suddenly, a door opened and Bill found himself staring at young woman with long copper locks and narrow ice blue eyes. She was dressed in a simple cropped black leather halter top and a low cut long black leather skirt with a slit up to her mid-thigh. The woman wasn’t gorgeous, but with that thick black line around those pale eyes and heavy black boots she looked dangerous. A very alluring dangerous…

The song wasn’t her favorite, but it made her think of better times. Times when her world was still hers and not claimed by those around her. She didn’t understand why she still listened to the group. Her mother had loved the group to the point where the woman would dance around the house just humming the songs. Songs that the woman didn’t understand then.
“Mum,” the woman shrugged it off as she stepped over to the device. How little things had really changed over the years. Yes, she could control anything in her small apartment by a simple thought, but a simple device was still needed and that device still needed a chip to play everything. Things just got smaller as the years went on, “this is for you,” with that the song ceased.
And the woman turned to see the strangest thing. Standing there in the middle of her living room was a young man with long black and white dread locks and the face of an angel. She knew that face somewhere, but she couldn’t quite place it. Why was this man so familiar? What was his significance? How did he get into her apartment?
Suddenly, the woman felt weak. She had never felt like this before and she had been drained by numerous beings. What was happening? What…
Bill sighed as he stared down at the unconscious woman on the floor. He knew what he had done was wrong, but it was the only thing that could work. The only thing he could do. The only thing that…
Bill kneeled down next to the woman and placed his hand on her shoulder. She would be fine, but right then she was weak, “Thank you, Vixen,” he brushed the woman’s hair back from her beautiful face, “Thank you.”

~Tom’s eyes grew wide as Bill stepped through the lobby of the apartment complex. It wasn’t that Bill had run off. They had separated many times since their death, but Bill had never come back corporeal. What had his brother done?
Bill smiled as he looked up to see his brother standing there. Tom was in shock and Bill understood why. The knowledge had always been there for Bill. If he had known the full extent of their disembodied state he could have fixed it years before, “Tomi,” the younger twin’s eyes flashed black before Tom stood before him, “I have found hope.”
Tom nodded, “I can see that, and,” Tom looked down at his hands as he felt the light breeze again, “feel that. What happened?”
Bill let out a light sigh before he stepped over to his brother and placed his hand on the older twin’s shoulder, “I dabbled more than I admitted before Dark vaporized us,” he offered Tom a simple smile, “I’d rather not talk about this right now. Though,” Bill paused as he turned towards the hallway that lead up to Mirabella’s apartment, “I will say that we didn’t need anything to cling to, but someone needed to cling to us.”
    “Bill?”
“I know, you need more explanation,” Tom nodded, “Let us get somewhere private. Somewhere where we can discuss openly and not have to veil our every word.”
“Right,” Tom nodded before the twins started towards the stairs. He had no idea what Bill was trying to say or how this had happened. Why did Bill just do it then? Nothing was making sense at all. They had their bodies back, but what did that mean? There was nothing for them. Yeah, there was Dark, but Tom only wanted to hurt the creature because of what he had done to those that he cared about. Revenge.
Bill pushed the door open and smiled as the two sprites turned to look at the twins. Mirabella’s bright amber eyes were wide as Lei fainted. The two couldn’t keep themselves from laughing as Bill stepped over to the smaller sprite and kneeled down. He held his hand over the creature’s temple before her eyes snapped open and she jumped away from him.
“How!” Lei’s voice cracked as she leaned back against the wall, “How do you have the power!”
Bill sighed as he rose to his feet and waited a few moments for Tom to shut the door, “Believe me when I say that that was nothing and that Tomi is ten times more powerful than I am. It’s part of the reason our line was bound,” Lei shook her head as she looked between the two, “Oh, don’t worry. We’re not violent. We don’t want to do anything with our powers other than,” Bill smiled to himself as he remembered the day he discovered that he could use magic, “to get a remote that is clear across the room.”
Tom rolled his eyes as he stepped over to the couch and sat down, “Billa,” Tom glanced up at his brother, “do you mind getting to the important parts?”
“Right,” Bill crossed his arms over his chest, “Lei, you said something about not really being dead, but our bodies just being dematerialized. I’ve known how to manipulate the matter around me for quite some time. Though, I needed to find someone that cared about me or Tom, or even Tokio Hotel, to take their power. It’s an underhanded trick, but it worked. I have a corporeal body and with that I had the power myself to do the same for Tom. Since I cared about him it was that much easier and didn’t take as much to create him.”
“What happened to the poor person you used?”
Bill rolled his eyes at the small sprite’s question, “She was in her home and she is still in her home. As I stated before. I don’t wish to harm anyone. Only help those that have been hurt by the very creature that I set loose,” the dread head let out a heavy sigh, “I even intend to return to the woman and thank her properly.”
    “Beautiful?”
Bill glared at his brother’s quip. Yes. The woman was exceptional, but that was not what he had meant, “Why don’t you just go get yourself laid real quick so we can be serious.”
    “Why don’t you?”
“For the very reason that I’ve never been a laid and don’t wish to start with something to meaningless,” Tom’s eyes grew wide and Bill just shook his head, “Just go, Tom.”
“What about Dark!” Mirabella finally spoke, “Why about Kyler? The beast is still holding my Ky hostage.”
Silence filled the room as Bill realized why the sprite had taken to living as a human. It hid her from the beast until she could find a way to bring Bill and Tom back. Just to get Kyler back. The sprite loved the human and Bill felt sorry for the small creature before him, “I’ll do what I can, but right now. Neither Tom nor I are ready to take on Dark. He’s extremely powerful and I’m really not used to using my powers in corporeal form. We need time.”
“But,” a single tear slid down the crimson sprite’s cheek, “Kyler…”
Bill stepped over to the small sprite and wrapped his arms around her, “We’ll help him, Miry,” he gave the small creature a simple squeeze before he pulled back and offered her a reassuring smile, “I promise.”
Miry nodded as she wiped her eyes. Her mind was stuck on the fact that she would finally be able to help Kyler. The human would finally be taken from the beast and let live. No longer the pet of such a creature. And the man standing before her was going to help her do it. If he managed to set Kyler free, the sprite didn’t know how she would ever thank the man, “Thank you, Bill. Thank you.”

~Kyler looked up as the door to his room entered. He knew the creature was making his way there. The cuffs had been getting warmer the closer the creature got. At that point they were nearly unbearable, an affect that would soon fade as soon as Dark noticed the discomfort. Kyler cocked his head to the side as he wondered why he wanted away. It wasn’t that he enjoyed being under Dark’s control, but right then everything seemed peaceful and he had eternity.
“Kyler,” the cuffs cooled as the creature’s sapphire gaze fell on the man, “you just couldn’t be happy with what you had…” the creature stepped over to the man and pulled him to his feet, “I was satisfied with the irony of watching the humans, the very creatures that contained me, to kill themselves. Now,” he threw Kyler into the wall, “Those two are back and now I am forced to take action!”
The man crumpled to the floor. He knew that he couldn’t die because of Dark, but his body was still as fragile as any human’s and he was sure that Dark had just cracked two of his ribs, “What are you talking about?” Kyler picked himself up as he placed his hands to his chest. He was in pain, but he knew that Dark wouldn’t heal him. The creature strove to inflict pain. Even on his pet. Dark would watch Kyler suffer for hours and not care because their immortality was shared.
“The twins!” Dark pulled back as his black rimmed eyes grew wide, “You don’t know?” Kyler shook his head as he stumbled over to his best, “How did they…” Dark shook his head as he waved to Kyler and the pain just disappeared, “Suck it up, Kyler. Stupid human,” the creature turned towards the door, “You just got a new job, boy,” the creature’s thin lips curled into a cruel grin, “Bait.”
